Safari, Meebo, and totally awesome Stuff

So for the last 5 minutes I've been using Safari, the browser a friend installed for me but never actually used. Basiclly I was trying to open the Maq #041 webpage and IE just hates me so much it decides to crash every fricken time I open it. So I launched Safari and voila, no more crashing, pages load a hell of a lot faster than before, and the appearance... oh wow, don't even get me started! 

That's one thing I've always been jealous over Mac users, is the design of each program. And seeing how much time I spend on the internet I like a slick browser. I know there are people out there who'll say that FireFox is the way to go, but just something about it doesn't sit well with me. Over time I've used IE, FireFox, Google Chrome (Beta), and now Safari, and I have to say Safari wins hands down! Of course take what I type here with a grain of salt. 

Also, I just started using Meebo, a public version of AIM or any IM system they carry. It's pretty sweet, though I have yet to see how it will preform in Safari. Lets hope it, and mIRC, work, or I might just cry... 

School is going pretty well; haven't heard much from the girl who was apparently "going to rip my reputation limb from limb", which is good. That and homecoming was really fun. I had a red dress for the occasion and a date (one who prides himself as being taller than my ex-bf) who got me a really gorgeous corsage. It had small white roses and (what I think were) miniature lilies.  I may be wrong about the second flower, but they sure as hell looked like 'em. And it was hilarious to see my friend's reaction to our date. Right in the middle of gym after the security check in she just starts yelling at me. In a comedic way of course. 

Totally worth it. XD Though now she made me swear that if I ever do something like that to her again, she will kill me. But she had a good time, so I guess the shock eventually wore off.
